Hello, I'm Threeboy (James Dodds III) a web & graphic designer (and "indie" cartoonist & comedian) based near Vancouver BC.
After years of freelancing and wandering the internet Serengeti Weaver & Labec have finally persuaded me (they have incriminating photos) to join the SpawnPoint team. I hope to bring my skills to the team and utilize my design and community experience to enhancify SpawnPoint to tha next level.
I've always loved videogames - I read gamer mags feverishly in my youth (stopped buying them the day I got internet though - the game news was often a month old, how could magazines compete?). I still try to play videogames when I have time but I play nowhere near as much as I did when I was younger (I still have 100+ SNES games). Sadly in my older age I've migrated from hardcore into the dreaded "casual gamer" demographic. My girlfriend & I play our DS's and throw down some Guitar Hero here and there but that's the most hardcore gaming we do these days. The newest consoles I own are a GameCube, Playstation 2 and the original Xbox. I hope to change that very soon - Force Unleashed is out tomorrow and I'll most likely buy an Xbox 360 & upgrade to HDTV in the coming months. Stoked.
As for PC gaming, I used to be quite hooked into Counter-Strike back in the day and did some cartoons, wallpapers and spray tags you may have seen. I jumped onto the SpawnPoint Vancouver 24/7 Assault server on the weekend to check it out and my ping time was good so I'm gonna have to hit that up more often. I play World of WarCraft on occasion (TrueNuff Guild on Crushridge) but I on a break while I sort out some stuff. I also throw down some hardcore solo Civilization 4 games when I have a day to throw away.
I have many other blogs (and a Facebook profile, Flickr account, LiveJournal blog, etc...) but I'll be blogging here about my SpawnPoint related duties and activities and I'll throw in some other inane rambles for good measure.
That's all the rambling for now - back to the grind.

Welcome to the team threeboy :) Tony showed me some of your graphical work the other night and i'm impressed.... See you on server and in ventrilo soon.
James makes an excellent addition to my trophy room. Tony's head looks quite nice over the fire, James will look good on the other side.
